Wanted to catch some northeast fall colors before leaving for California, so we headed up to Grafton Lake.
Got there in the late afternoon and took the trail around the lake. Right now is peak leaf time in the Adirondacks but we’re not quite there in the lower elevations.
Brought along the cheap macro setup and played with that a little.
This spider was not much bigger than a grain of rice! It’s really hard to get good images from this setup, especially without a tripod and using natural light. If you look at a the large size you can see its eyes.
Fall is upon us. More photos from Grafton in the slideshow, incuding some from the Peace Pagoda last year.
